Overview
Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi was founded durring the late 12th century in winter of the year 1054, by Srae vyim Rolɑrtɑtems. The establishment of Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi's construction back out of the project. Srae vyim Rolɑrtɑtems pushed on reguardles, and Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.
Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt cobblestone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city rests behind a set of well fortified walls, with gatehouses, watch towers, and battlments. Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi's walls are, howeaver, fashioned from stone and timber. While unorthadox, the design looks to be functional to a reasonable degree. With luck, the untested design will remain untested for years to come. The city's unusual yet seemingly effective fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.
Right off the bat Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi hits you in the face with its success. Everyone, even the peasants, are dressed in well made clothing. Every tool and implement you can see is finely made, and people will boast to you as obvious strangers of the wonders which can be found in their markets. More interestingly is a total lack of beggars, and plenty of new buildings are going up even as you speak. Many of those buildings are schools, scriptoriums, and even one college. One can only wonder what knowledge the town has come into.

Cultural Notes
A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.
Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.
Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is skipped in Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi.

History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi was attacked by a renegade group of the army. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi lost 156 people, 211 livestock, and 26 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 133, when members of Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi's militia enacted an operation to extract assets from a port under siege by the enemy. The operation was complicated by the enemy forces had far more numbers than estimated. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in a crushing defeat for Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Ēji Ngágä-sïwoffi's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
